Ütopya Tasarım Mimarlık İnşaat is an architecture and construction
practice working in architectural design, urban regeneration and building design. Since
its founding it has carried out its work in line with current zoning legislation, urban
planning principles and the public interest. Its aim is to contribute to the production of
safe, sustainable and well-made buildings.
Every project begins with the site itself. Orientation, light, neighbouring
relationships and zoning conditions determine most of the decisions before the first line
is drawn. Materials are used as they are, and detail is made visible rather than
concealed.
The measure of the practice is whether a finished building can still convey the idea it
was drawn with.
Osman Affan Özkan has worked actively in the construction and architecture sector since
2007. Over the course of his career he has worked at various architectural practices and
provided consultancy services to contracting firms. He has extensive knowledge and
experience in zoning plans, project development and architectural design.
A graduate of Ümraniye Vocational and Technical High School, Özkan is continuing his
education in the Public Administration Department of Anadolu University and the Civil
Engineering Department of St. Clements University.
Serving as a member of the Ümraniye Municipal Council between 2019 and 2024, Özkan held
the posts of Deputy Chair of the Zoning Committee and Chair of the Youth and Sports
Committee.
Combining his professional background with his local government experience and sector
vision, Osman Affan Özkan currently serves as General Manager at Ütopya Tasarım
Mimarlık.
Born on 12 February 1992 in Rize. Graduated in 2014 from the Construction Technologies
Department of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University. After graduating, began working actively in
the building and construction sector across design processes, permit procedures, urban
regeneration works, construction delivery and technical consultancy.
Drawing on the knowledge and experience gained since 2014, takes a solution-focused and
disciplined approach at every stage from planning through to construction. Currently serves
as Director at the practice, coordinating design and construction processes.
Married with one child.
Yunus Emre Yurtseven has worked actively in the construction and architecture sector
since 2012. Over the course of his career he has worked at various architectural practices
and, within contracting firms, has worked both as a subcontractor and as a technical chief
on construction operations. He has extensive knowledge and experience in works
monitoring.
A graduate of Ümraniye Vocational and Technical High School, Yurtseven is a construction
technician.
Combining his professional background with his local government experience and sector
vision, Yunus Emre Yurtseven currently serves as a founding partner at Ütopya Tasarım
Mimarlık.
